    About the Role

    As an Institutional Sales Specialist (ISS) reporting to the Institutional Regional Business Manager, you will play a key role in helping the company achieve its business and access goals in the specified region. The ideal candidate will engage with internal and external customers, provide expertise in therapeutic areas, analyze market trends, and work with federal accounts, teaching institutions, and state prisons. You will be responsible for driving access and support in federal accounts and institutional channels, while also identifying future opportunities in the retail market. Collaboration, strategic planning, and leveraging marketing resources will be essential in maintaining brand access.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Drive growth in targeted accounts such as VA's, DoD's, teaching institutions, and state prisons.
    • Create and execute strategic plans for institutional accounts.
    • Collaborate with sales leaders to assess market trends and create action plans.
    • Build relationships with key decision-makers in targeted accounts.
    • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in institutional engagement.
    • Work with regional account managers to achieve business goals.
    • Participate in company training programs as required.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.
    • 10+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience with focus on institutional settings.
    • Experience in launching new products in hospital environments.
    • Knowledge of VA and psychiatry therapeutics preferred.
    • Strong business acumen and strategic account management skills.
    • Ability to work in rapidly changing environments and cross-functional teams.
    • Demonstrated success in strategic planning and problem-solving.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

    • Veteran's Affairs and Institutions, Federal and State Prisons, Academic Institutions.
