**About The Role:**

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, modifying and acquiring equipment and tooling in a fast paced, high volume assembly and manufacturing environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Troubleshoot machine malfunctions using knowledge gained in manufacturing environment and engineering discipline.

+ Capability to troubleshoot electrical wiring.

+ Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems on equipment.

+ Evaluate equipment malfunctions with a sense of urgency to minimize downtime.

+ Modify equipment as necessary to improve safety, quality, productivity, and reliability.

+ Provide Support in the maintenance and repair of production machinery and equipment and assist with major overhauls, etc. Equipment includes but not limited to, production machinery and support equipment.

+ Ability to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic systems and equipment used in industrial manufacturing to include maintaining electronic systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

**Role Purpose:**

+ This position will be direct support to the Indianapolis assembly and fabrication lines.

+ Responsible for the equipment uptime for assigned department.

+ Ensure the use of the Carrier Excellence tools in increasing attainment for production equipment.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Associates degree in? **Robotics, Automations, Controls,?** or? **Mechanical/Electrical Engineering**

+ 3+ years experience in the troubleshooting and maintenance of? **manufacturing equipment**
