    We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join our finance team.

    The Assistant Controller will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, preparing financial reports, and assisting with financial analysis.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GAAP, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    This position reports to the Corporate Controller.
    What would I be doing?


    • Must have a BS degree in Accounting
    • Must have a strong knowledge of GAAP
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUPS and pivot tables
    • Produce accurate and reliable financial reporting
    • Ensure observance to month-end closing timeline.
    • Work with billing and accounts payable teams to identify process improvements to shorten the close process
    • Assist in building commission process.
    • Understanding of ASC 842 Lease Accounting
    • Analyze financial information and perform fluctuation analysis
    • Assist with budget preparation and analysis of actuals vs budget.
    • Experience with leading external annual audits
    • 8+ years of relevant working experience with increasing responsibilities

    • Any experience with logistics or real estate development companies would be a plus.

    Location:
    Woodbridge, NJ – 5 days onsite
    *The person needs to be in NJ and willing to travel to NJ twice a month. Otherwise role is remote
