Our client in the life sciences industry is seeking a

Senior

Accounting Consultant

for the next 2-3+ months.

Qualified candidates are available to work in San Diego on a hybrid schedule (Tuesdays and Thursdays in office) and have strong general accounting experience, specifically with fixed assets and PP&E.

Compensation:

Compensation:
$50 to $65/HR DOE.
Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.

Scope of Project:
Work closely with multiple teams at the company as well as business partners.
Responsible for a CIP account clean-up project to bring the data current.
Manage 6-12 months of backlog by building out new tabs within the system.
Assist with month-end close booking fixed assets related journal entries within NetSuite.
Identify and communicate any risks or recommendations around the fixed assets/PP&E process and data management.

Requirements:
Strong general accounting experience, specifically with Fixed Assets and PP&E.
Must be able to hit the ground running.
Public company or public accounting (internal controls) experience is preferred.
Experience with NetSuite is preferred. Strong experience with MS Excel.
Industry experience is preferred.
Must be available to work in San Diego on a hybrid basis.

Out of state candidates will not be considered.
