Responsibilities for the RN Director- Behavioral Health :
Through managers ensures effective staffing levels daily to ensure a balance between cost and quality. Ensures policy/procedures remain current and in line with any new regulations.
Plans, directs and evaluates overall activities within the behavioral health department, including administrative activities, and fiscal material and human resource management.
Financially accountable for aspects of the unit utilizing available financial systems and reports and understanding the expense and revenue aspects of the unit.
Requirements for the Behavioral Health RN Director:5 years of recent psychiatric/behavioral health experience managing operations within a healthcare system.
Must have knowledge of regulatory and professional standards.
