Marketing Analyst

Location: San Jose, CA

7-month assignment (potential to extend)

Pay Rate: $55-$65/hour

Duties:

Support external agency and internal teams in building contact lists for email campaigns, outbound call prospecting and event invitations, using dimensions like contact personas and account segments
Continually look for ways to automate, optimize and simplify campaign execution, from distilling and documenting requirements, coding, output and QC.
Support data discovery, research, troubleshooting and analysis based on the evolving needs of marketing partners.
Develop and implement segmentation logic that aligns the right communication, at the right time, based on customer behavior, actions, and journey stage
Present data driven recommendations and strategies to team members and management based on analytic findings, research, and your knowledge of the data available.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or equivalent years of industry experience
Experience within direct or database marketing functions; in a B2B environment is preferred.
Possess understanding of Cloud Data Warehouse methodologies, Data Architecture, Data Modeling and Digital Metadata.
Highly skilled at time-management, is detail oriented and has high standards for project delivery.
2+ years experience with SQL queries and knowledge of database technologies including window and analytical functions.
Confidence to offer consultation to business partners and team members within Sales, Partner, Marketing Operations.
A familiarity working with AGILE/SCRUM process management.
