    Description
    Loadstar provides product handling and site logistics services to refineries, chemical plants, barge lines and terminals.

    We load and unload all classes of cargos into railcars, trucks, barges, and ships; we operate docks, tank farms, terminals, and warehouses; and we manage site logistics for marine, rail, truck, and pipeline.

    We aim to be the provider of these services in the industry, providing outstanding customer service and a superior employee experience.

    Communication and Events CoordinatorLoadstar is looking for a highly qualified Communication and Events Coordinator.

    This individual will contribute to existing marketing programs while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with Loadstar's values and goals.

    The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing and communications functions, including advertising, branding, digital marketing, social media, graphic design, website management, marketing analytics, and event planning and execution.

    This individual must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet deadlines.

    QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or communicationsExcellent writing, communication, and presentation skillsKnowledge of traditional and digital marketingProficiency in full Microsoft Office suiteExperience in website managementExperience in using social media platformsExperience in graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite or similar graphic design softwareExperience with research using data analytics software Past experience in event planning and execution, a plusRESPONSIBILITIESDeliver written content development for internal and external communications including but not limited to:

    press releases, marketing materials, and social media postsBe familiar with industry publications and opportunities for exposureDevelop newsletter structure, topics, and frequencyDevelop open enrollment materials that help withing understanding benefit offeringsResponsible for content creation, monitoring, and responding on all Loadstar social media outlets, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedInManage and oversee company websiteHelp ensure consistent branding and messaging throughout all external and internal communicationsMaintain overall marketing calendar and social media calendarManage the creation of marketing collateral, signage, and videos in coordination with marketing departmentPlan many events throughout the year with responsibilities including venue selection, cost effectiveness, and arrangement of event servicesManage all event set-up, tear down and follow-up processesBe familiar with industry events to propose and initiate involvement should it be a value for LoadstarOrganize and maintain photography and video librariesSCHEDULE & PAYFull TimeSalary ExemptMonday-FridayMinimal travel involvedWeekends and Evenings as neededEmployee BenefitsMedical insurance options with the company paying a large portion of the premiums, including affordable dental and vision plans for employees and their families.
