Description

The duties of an Electrical Engineer will primarily consist of designing and developing products in the load bank and fuel supply lines to meet the exacting requirements of our customers.

Proficiency will be attained on the job including the acquisition of a working knowledge of our products and the application of them.

This is a technical position involving engineering knowledge and application of that knowledge to interpret requirements and develop design solutions.

The engineer is expected to grow quickly in knowledge and ability to the point of assuming independent work in a period of 3-6 months and demonstrate continual growth thereafter.

Work closely with the Engineering Manager and other senior engineering personnel to complete design work assigned in a timely manner Analyze sales orders and customer specification in order to design equipment consistent with customer requirements Input information into proprietary software accurately and efficientlyMaintaining a workflow that ensures timely adherence to all deadlinesRequirements Technical background including education and/or experience equivalent to 4 year degree in Electrical EngineeringStrong attention to detailThorough understanding of mathematics and electrical theory Ability to identify (through both observation and conversation) key requirements needed to develop products that will meet the demands of our customersModerate computer skills including familiarity with Office and ability to learn proprietary software quickly and accurately Problem solving skills and ability to work effectively under demanding deadlinesAbility to remain seated and work from a computer for extended periods of timeAbility to receive and retain instructional information Must be able to communicate (read, write and speak) the English language clearlyDemonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formatsExperience in AutoCAD required.

Experience in Solid Works and Solid Works Electrical a plusPLC programming experience a plus
