    Description

    Qualifications:

    15+ years working with the highest end factories, producing the highest end athleisure products. Strong existing relationships from past experiences, with interest in significant travel for relationship maintenance. A proven leader eager to make their mark on a consumer brand.

    This role is a growth stage Men's Sports Apparel brand.

    They are looking for a determined, experienced brand builder to join them and revolutionize the product (expand product offering in a strategic, thoughtful way).

    Role Specific Context:

    This brand began by selling gym shorts w/ built-in liner on folding tables. The distribution channels have evolved to include eCommerce, specialty retailers, and national wholesalers. Our product assortment has expanded to include khaki shorts, pants, and polos. But, through it all, their bootstrapped spirit has remained, and the product team has stayed lean.

    An inflection point has been reached. It's time to invest in diverse product categories more than ever before.

    The Head of Sourcing, alongside the Director of Product Development have an incredible opportunity to be a real part of building a product organization from the ground up.

    Reporting, Resources and Responsibility:

    Report directly to the Chief Product Officer.

    Capable of conducting a nimble operation that ensures the right factories are producing the right product at the right time.

    Excels in price negotiation, acquisition of line space, and implementation of a chase plan. Pre-existing relationships with factories and mills leading to the production of woven athleisure, knit athleisure, and outerwear a must.

    $175,000 - $200,000 a year
