Description
The DB Projekt Stuttgart-Ulm GmbH is building the future of rail transportation in the southwest. As part of Deutsche Bahn, it is responsible for the restructuring of the Stuttgart railway hub.

Essential for the mobility transition in Baden-Württemberg is also the expansion of the Gäubahn, the international railway line between Zurich and Stuttgart.

With this new project, the Gäubahn will be connected to the new S21 route network and the future main train station via Stuttgart Airport.

This will involve the construction of one of the longest railway tunnels in Germany - the Pfaffensteigtunnel between Böblingen and Stuttgart Airport, which will be excavated using two tunnel boring machines.

Join our team that is planning and building one of the longest tunnels in Germany. The 11 km-long Pfaffensteigtunnel borders the major S21 project at Stuttgart Airport.

For the "Neubaustrecke Pfaffensteigtunnel" project, we are taking a new approach by working in collaboration with planners and construction companies, using the "partnership model-rail" method.

This new model involves all project partners from the beginning and replaces traditional procedures.

Due to the close cooperation between the client, planners, and construction companies, deadlines, costs, and quality can be better managed - in line with the "best-for-project" principle.

The project office for all partners is located in the heart of Stuttgart.
