    Description
    The Financial officer is responsible for the full creditors administration, including capturing of invoices - three way matching with order, delivery notes and invoice. creditor's reconciliations and payment processing in accordance to agreed payment terms.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
    • Payment and administration of suppliers (check invoice for VAT compliance, check invoice for correct information against order and delivery note, input data on SAP, cash flow planning, capture payments and file all documentation).
    • Reconciliation of supplier statements and remittance advices.
    • Control over supplier accounts (follow up outstanding invoices and short payments, timeously liaise with suppliers, buyers and stores in resolving queries).
    • Reconciliation of general ledger control accounts to the creditors sub ledgers.
    • Administer the Small Fixed Asset register.
    • Assist in the financial year-end audit.
    • Other ad-hoc tasks as directed.
    WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
    • National Diploma qualification in Finance or equivalent
    • At least 3 years' experience in Creditors Department of which 2 years should be in general ledger and creditors sub ledger.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent administration, planning and organizing skills with attention to detail.
    • SAP knowledge will be highly advantageous.
    • Knowledge of MS Office packages including Excel
