    Position Title: Data Associate

    Reporting Structure: Reports to the National Data Director

    Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position is $54,000 to $66,000 yearly, depending on experience and skill sets.

    Job Classification: Full time, non-exempt
    Schedule: Full time, 50+ hours per week during peak times in the summer and fall and may include evenings and weekends.

    Location: Remote

    Role Description

    Revolution Field Strategies (RFS) is seeking talented, driven individuals for the role of Data Associate who will be responsible for managing the data, reporting, and quality control needs for a variety of canvassing and voter registration programs across the country, including extensive work with VoteBuilder/VAN, Blocks and Google Workspace.

    Data Associates will work with company leadership to ensure high-quality, innovative programs for a broad, diverse set of clients and partners.

    Data Associates will report directly to Data Department Leadership. This role is remote, but the applicant may be required to travel for training purposes. Salaries for this position range from $54,000 to $66,000 yearly, based on experience and skill set

    Key Responsibilities

    • Help to oversee and service the daily data, reporting, and quality control needs of a variety of canvassing and voter registration programs across the country
    • Work with the program teams on any data needs in VoteBuilder/VAN, such as universes and turf-cutting, and quality control follow-ups
    • Work with the program teams to implement robust quality control processes to ensure that each member of the team is held to the highest standards of quality in their work
    • Assist in managing the program's daily/nightly reporting needs; and,
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Must be comfortable using a computer and be able to pick up and understand new software quickly
    • Must possess a computer with at least 32 gigabytes of ram
    • Must have two computer monitors
    • Ability and willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule, which can be expected to require 50+ hours per week during peak times in the summer and fall, and may include evenings and weekends.
    • Must possess a cell phone, laptop, and reliable internet connection
    • Experience or ability to utilize Google Workspace

    Plus Qualifications

    • Experience working with VoteBuilder/VAN, though that could include volunteer canvassing on a campaign, and does not necessarily require prior experience in a data-focused role
    • A thorough, detail-oriented work style that avoids mistakes

    Essential Physical Requirements

    • As this is a remote position, the individual in this position must be able to communicate with colleagues and partners via phone, including conference and video calls, as well as written communication such as email.
    • The position requires the ability to attend occasional in-person events throughout the year which may encompass all or part of the work day.
    • This position requires vision/hearing abilities.
