dual study program at the University of Emden/Leer in the


Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science in practical cooperation
The main location for the practical periods will be in Norden.

The NLWKN is a state agency dedicated to the diverse tasks of water management and nature conservation. We operate, maintain, plan and construct coastal and flood protection facilities. With our diverse tasks in regional and statewide nature conservation, we ensure the quality of life in Lower Saxony. Around 1,500 employees are committed to these tasks.

With the headquarters in Norden (East Frisia) and eleven branch offices, the NLWKN is represented at a total of 14 locations throughout Lower Saxony.

The NLWKN maintains a variety of facilities such as locks and flood barriers and is present at many locations in the country through operating yards.

The Computer Science in practical cooperation program is a ten-semester program leading to a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree.

During the lecture period, three days per week are spent at the university and two days per week at the NLWKN.

The program consists of three-quarters of face-to-face events
