In the past, it was light bulbs that amazed people, as they no longer had to rely on candles for light.

Today, it is complex electrical systems that show us how important electricity is in our lives. Because without electricity, nothing works. But if electricity and power are anything but obvious to you and you want to learn more about why, why not choose to train as an industrial electrician?

Industrial electricians specializing in operating technology are true experts for our production systems and power supply, which are essential in our production facility.

Their daily tasks include electronics and electrical work. During your two-year dual training, you will learn how to process, assemble, and connect mechanical components and electrical equipment. You will install electrical systems and equipment, operate them, and perform maintenance work.

You will also be responsible for quality assurance, meaning you will analyze and test electrical systems and functions, document production data, and conduct safety checks on electrical systems and equipment.

You will always work according to environmental protection and occupational safety guidelines. The training lasts 2 years and takes place at the company locations in Elsterwerda and Bad Liebenwerda.

The theoretical lessons take place at the Oberstufenzentrum Elbe-Elster in Elsterwerda, and the practical lessons
