    Description

    We are currently working with an advanced subsurface intelligence and analytics company who is seeking a DevOps Software Engineer.

    Responsibilities:

    • Automate repetitive tasks to enhance efficiency and scalability.
    • Monitor and resolve issues with network and infrastructure to ensure optimal availability and performance.
    • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for streamlined integration and deployment processes.
    • Design and manage AWS cloud environments, focusing on scalability, reliability, and security.
    • Set up and oversee IAM roles, policies, and permissions within AWS to regulate resource access.
    • Maintain and enhance database systems to guarantee effective and consistent performance.
    • Implement comprehensive software testing approaches, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
    • Work collaboratively with development teams to enhance code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
    • Keep up-to-date of the latest trends and practices in DevOps, cloud services, and software development.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
    • 5+ years of IT and network management, managing deployment pipelines, AWS cloud services, IAM, database administration, and software testing.
    • Skilled in programming languages including Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, and C++.
    • Hands-on familiarity with AWS tools such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and Lambda.
    • Proficient in database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
    • Well-versed in various software testing methods and tools.
    • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
    • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, capable of functioning effectively in a collaborative setting.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • AWS certification, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
    • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS for containerization and orchestration.
    • Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
    • Proficient with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.
    • Knowledge of IaC principles and tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

    Must live in the United States.
