Description
Reporting to Director of Human Resources, the incumbent supports the total Human Resource function for the company by performing and maintaining a steady flow of applicants and assisting with HR program management.
This opening is for summer and/or fall 2024 with flexible working hours between 20 to 40 hours per week depending on your availability. Wages will range from $18 to $22 per hour depending on experience.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Job Functions:
Recruiting - post jobs, schedule in-person interviews.
Onboarding - write hire letter, schedule pre-employment screening, process initial onboarding through ihire, schedule onboarding, order uniforms and assist with onboarding.
Company communication - manage the HR calendar by sending company meeting and event invites. Send company emails and announcements.
Assist in updating written policies and projects with guidance.
Oversite, create and storage of personnel files and records
Document editing and basic instructional design
Other duties as assigned

Ability to effectively train others and assess performance
Ability to maintain discretion and professionalism in dealing with highly confidential information

Physical Demands:
This position will work in an office environment that will require sedentary physical demands with frequently exerting between 0lbs to 10lbs of force

Software: Internet browser, email, word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, time/attendance, and HRIS applications
Safety:
Follow policies found in Seneca Tank's Safety Manual..
Qualifications:
The applicant needs to be currently enrolled in college/graduate courses or recent graduate with a degree Human Resources or similar field of study.
The applicant needs to be able to work on-site during business hours
