GET TO KNOW THE ROLE
The Director of Marketing is responsible for promotions, social media, and the player services departments and responsible for the successful planning and implementation of casino marketing promotions, and special events.
Lead the social media team in planning, implementing, managing, and monitoring the social media strategy to increase brand awareness, generate revenue and increase engagement.
Provide exceptional leadership to increase profitability ensuring the highest service level to these guests.Manage all aspects of promotions and special events, and execute procedures, policies and operational controls when creating, appraising, and evaluating results of all programs.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Exemplify MCR's values and set a great example by consistently demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
Practice, support and promote the Mission, Vision, and Values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort (MCR).
Assist the Chief Marketing Officer in providing strategic leadership for Marketing and development/implementation of departmental strategies, ensuring alignment with brand service strategy and initiatives.
Plan, implement and oversee all Marketing operations to include, but not limited to day-to-day operations, collaborations with other departments to improve the overall guest experience and satisfaction.
Assess and improve existing initiatives; devise new strategies to increase revenue while collaborating with executive leadership to ensure alignment with organizational strategic goals.
Set clear marketing goals and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan aligned with the casino's overall business objectives.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.; provide recommendations to ensure MCR maintains a competitive advantage.
Implement customer relationship management (CRM) strategies to gather customer data and personalize marketing efforts.Monitor customer feedback and reviews to make data-driven improvements to services and facilities.
Monitor expenses and ROI for all marketing activities and make adjustments as needed.
Ensure organizational compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations and standards, and internal controls.
Ensure consistent delivery of MCR's hospitality/guest experience standards; participate in performance management programs.
Formulate and operate within annual operating budget, and capital budget to accomplish goals and objectives.
Prepare and submit all promotions, tournaments, club programs, or other property promotional efforts to the Gaming Commission, or as required.
Develop annual promotions calendar, and quarterly forecast.Create, maintain, and execute MCR's social media strategy with a focus on retention plan development and revenue generation.
Collaborate with internal stakeholder to establish a comprehensive, full-funnel media strategy aligned with MCR's objectives to drive engagement and participation and deliver on revenue targets.
Make recommendations for the reinvestment matrix including comps, cash back, discounts and other incentives to ensure MCR is investing in its target markets to maximize profitability.
Manage, direct, and supervise all MCR participation in trade shows and provide analytical decisions regarding off-property events and sponsorship opportunities.
Promote and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies, practices, and procedures to include, but not limited to; guest service/hospitality standards, Human Resources processes/procedures, coaching, budgeting and purchasing.
Create, maintain, and facilitate a positive and safe work environment; promote positive team member relations and reports issues to appropriate personnel.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Ability to obtain and maintain a Class III A gaming license.
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field required. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Seven (7) years of marketing management experience with at least three (3) years involving management of marketing promotions, casino events, and rules submission.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Availability - Ability to work different shifts, holidays, weekends, and nights to support a 24/7 operation.
Physical - Ability to maneuver in all areas of the casino, ascent/descent from stairs, frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching, and/or prolonged periods of time focusing on tasks.
Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.May regularly need to lift/ move, push or pull up material or boxes necessary to the job function, with or without assistance.
