    Summary of Position:


    The Director of Marketing is responsible for leading the marketing function, developing marketing plans, and implementing marketing programs including product development, go-to-market, integrated marketing, and communications.

    Marketing plans include both short and long-term initiatives, targeted toward existing customers and supporting client expansion and growing Denali's share of wallet.

    In addition, the Director of Marketing would be responsible for driving branding, messaging, corporate community engagement, sales enablement, and manage marketing metrics demonstrating performance and return on investment.

    The Director of Marketing will perform all marketing duties personally or through subordinates. This position will participate in organization-wide strategic projects and meetings.

    Essential Functions:
    Direct and oversee the company marketing function, marketing resources, and staff to develop strategies and plans to achieve company objectives and metrics
    Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions
    Oversee Corporate Marketing including brand execution, competitive analysis, value statements, storyboards, customer personas, concept creation, brand identity, message maps, storytelling, logo creation, brand materials (biz cards, letterheads, promo items), and branding metrics
    Plan and coordinate public relations, analyst relations, communications efforts, and community outreach
    Lead Integrated Marketing planning developing Account-Based Marketing, campaigns, case studies, testimonials, asset creation, blogs, whitepapers, eBooks, and digital marketing and social channel execution
    Drive and manage Marketing Communications with the structured in-take process, Communications Calendar, developing internal and external communications plans which could include newsletters, executive presentations/content, media training, press releases, media/analyst interviews/coverage, writing/editing, crisis communications, community relationship management, awards/recognition (press, analyst, alliance, community, etc) and events
    Lead Product Marketing and work cross-functionally to assist in product development, product specs, product positioning, proof of concept, pricing, promotions, GTM plans, forecasts by channel, product demos, and product launches
    Support Sales Enablement with the creation of sales guides, training materials & delivery, sales collateral, datasheets, sales asset library, content audits, sales templates, email sequences, RFIs/RFPs, QBRs
    Manage agencies that help support and augment the marketing function to perform required marketing activity
    Build Marketing metrics, Data collection, data analysis, marketing reporting, and budget reporting through dashboards
    Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
    Primary liaison between other business units (i.e. sales, operations, HR)
    Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company
    Develops and manages marketing operating budgets

    This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, software applications, Microsoft suite, phones, social media, and marketing technology.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee in this position frequently communicates with other co-workers/clients who have inquiries about the various projects and other needs.

    Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.

    The employee in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

    Constantly operate a computer and office machinery such as a calculator, keyboard, copy machine, and printer.

    Frequently moves boxes with equipment weighing up to 25lbs across the building and/or to other offsite buildings for various project needs.


    Required Education and Experience:
    Bachelor's Degree
    10 + Years of Experience

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree or the equivalent number of years of experience
    Ten (10) years of related experience with progressive management experience leading teams and results
    Ability to build strong, highly collaborative relationships
    Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to effectively communicate
    Proven experience developing, inspiring, and activating teams to deliver best in class marketing strategies and plans
    Track record of driving excellence through marketing communications, campaigns, and messaging initiatives
    Experience managing marketing initiatives for multiple brands & categories, varied in size, scope, and priority
    Experience in Advertising and/or Public Relations required
    Experience developing and executing Account-Based Marketing strategies
    Experience and understanding of digital marketing is required
    Ability and interest in working cross-functionally
