    Description

    Job Title: Institutional Investment Operations Analyst

    Location: Charlotte, NC | Hybrid 3x/week

    Contract Length: 18+ months

    Pay Rate: $30 - $37 an hour

    Top Requirements:

    1. 2+ years of experience in Institutional Investment Operations/DTC Settlements.
    2. Proficiency in collateral management.
    3. In-depth understanding of settlement processes.
    4. Advanced skills in Excel.

    Desired Requirements:

    1. Familiarity with Broadridge.

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

    • Participate in lifecycle support tasks for institutional trade initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements.
    • Assist leadership in bringing individuals or teams together to resolve complex issues.
    • Assist in client account onboarding, input and monitoring of cash payments, customer service, project support, funding operations, custodial operations, securities settlement services, structured loan operations, and general ledger reconciliation. Also, work to resolve confirmation and ISDA related issues.
    • Provide subject matter expertise on projects along with internal and industry-related initiatives.
    • Review and analyze functional operational tasks that require research, evaluation, and exercise independent judgment to guide the deliverables.
    • Present recommendations for resolving complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise on functions, projects, internal and industry-related initiatives.
    • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and validate multi-currency and multi-correspondent bank cash projections for utilization by the Front Office to secure necessary funding.
    • Ensure that all Front Office projection-related inquiries are tracked and responded to expediently.
    • Perform ad hoc reconciliations and data analysis as needed for reporting to internal business partners.
    • Liaise with various operational support groups and trading desks to escalate and resolve conflicts in a timely manner, drive process improvements, and support business initiatives.
    • Enhance intraday liquidity processes and reporting, including partnership in the establishment of Corporate Intraday Liquidity Management System and Resolution Planning.
    • Identify opportunities for optimization and propose and implement solutions to enhance processes, mitigate risk, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
    • Evaluate current and future needs and communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders and technology partners to develop strategic solutions.
    • Monitor repo settlements and Tri-Party transactions to ensure proper cash and collateral movements.
    • Execute the allocation and optimization of collateral requirements for all Tri-Party repo obligations.
