Vocational Specialist
Interborough Developmental and Consultation Center is hiring a Vocational Specialist Assertive Community Treatment Program (ACT)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assess job readiness for all program clients
Provide vocational placement assistance, including education, training, workplace readiness programs
Job and career counseling for those determined to be work ready
Assists with resolving any barriers to obtaining employment
Provides support through all phases of vocational services
Develop and implement resume writing and workplace skill workshops based on client needs
Create additional trainings and workshops based on client needs as determined by the program
Interfacing with other agencies providing vocational educational opportunities and make appropriate referrals
Attend agency and program staff meetings.
All other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

Able to provide vocational support both individually and in group settings.
Experience in vocational/employment counseling.
Willing to work in a variety of settings including in the field, clients' homes, in the office, and through telehealth.

Required Field work: 75% of the time

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in related field
2 years of experience in vocational/employment counseling

SALARY RANGE:
$55,000 - $60,000 (Based on experience and licensure. )
