    Description

    We are seeking a skilled Stand Up Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and managing stand-up forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of materials and products.

    Responsibilities:

    Safe Operation: Operate stand-up forklifts in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.

    Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport materials and products to and from designated storage areas, production lines, and delivery trucks.

    Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing materials and products for damage or defects, and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.

    Team Collaboration: Collaborate with warehouse team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely fulfillment of orders.

    Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to the maintenance department.

    Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse and work area clean and organized at all times, following good housekeeping practices.

    Compliance: Follow all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including those related to safety, quality, and environmental standards.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a stand-up forklift operator in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
    • Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
    • Strong understanding of safety protocols and practices related to forklift operation.
    • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
    • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
    • Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.
