    Job DescriptionOPPORTUNITY ALERT for a chemical sales professional in the state with the tallest capitol building

    Company
    • This firm manufacturers and distributes a wide variety of chemicals all over the globe
    • Company has been serving customers through innovation and integrity since President Carter was in office
    • The owners of the firm are committed to grow the firm for years to come
    • The company is based in the Houston area but operates in over 35 countries

    Position
    • This role is responsible for new business development in Texas to Louisiana to Mississippi
    • This person will be calling on a variety of personnel, including upper-level decision-makers at multinational firms
    • This person will be responsible for the marketing and sale of specialty chemicals to existing and prospective accounts in a variety of industrial markets
    • Owns and sets account plans/goals/priorities for customers, both short and long-term
    • Manages and owns the overall account relationship to customers and is the "face" of the firm to the customer
    • Position is home-office based with very limited overnight travel required
    Qualifications
    • Four or more years of B2B liquid chemical sales experience is required
    • Specialty chemical sales experience is highly preferred
    • A four-year bachelor's degree is preferred (chemical engineering or chemistry degrees are highly preferred)
    • Company greatly values intellectual curiosity
    • Strong interpersonal skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
