Position Summary:


Amplity Health has a current opportunity for a Global Program Director in our Medical Solutions division leading one of our top clients Rare Disease Clinical Trial Liaison team.

The Program Director is responsible for designing, developing, and leading the strategy and plan for the life cycle of a project.

The role requires a combination of strategic thinking and day-to-day operations oversight collaborating with key Client stakeholders, internal stakeholders, and overseeing a team of field based clinical professionals.

The field based clinical professional role focuses on engagement with institution-based healthcare providers working on clinical trials (i.e., Principal Investigators, Sub Investigators, Research Managers, and Clinical Research Coordinators).

The Program Director role includes partnering across major functional areas such as Account Development, Project Management, Finance, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Compliance to ensure delivery of the services aligned to the SOW.

The role serves as the primary point of contact for the Client (biopharma) partner on behalf of Amplity.

In this capacity, the role is responsible for hosting meetings with the client to ensure strong two-way communication, delivery of the services to client expectations, planning with the client for both short-term and long-term deliverables, and to ensure connectivity of the client to the right internal stakeholders at Amplity, as needed.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to setting strategy, developing the program objectives and tactics, program implementation; daily program oversight; issue resolution, contracting; Talent Acquisition; CRM system use and data integration; KPI development, reporting, and analysis; budget management; Incentive Compensation Plan structure; team member training; Compliance; and Onboarding related activities.

The main therapeutic area of focus for this position is immunology.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Main point of contact for Client engagement; leading communication of progress on deliverables and listening to and meeting client needs within the SOW on agreed timelines
  • People manager lead a team of Field Based Clinical Professionals
  • Provide clear direction on field activities (as directed by the client and aligned to the SOW)
  • Provide KPI's and objectives for the team
  • Coach, inspire, and facilitate a strong collaborative culturealigned to client and company values
  • Develop consistent and efficient processes across the program
  • Responsible for performance management, travel & expense, PTO, and other employerrelated responsibilities related to the Field Team
  • Create, manage, and maintain Project Plans & Timelines encompassing key milestones, ensuring alignment to Client and Company objectives per the SOW
  • Work with Internal departments (account development, project management, finance, compliance, HR) to manage scope and work regarding program management and planning for all assigned activities
  • Identify, manage, and facilitate discussions to address risk and opportunity with key stakeholders on assigned projects while developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and Clientsatisfaction goals and objectives
  • Facilitate clear communication to all relevant internal and external stakeholders and the understanding of decisions, deliverables, action items, direction, etc. through regular Status Reports and Project Meetings
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting deliverables, as identified in the SOWs.
  • Develop, Track, and Analyze metrics associated with the project & Field Member activity; Identify and implement strategies to improve business performance
  • Provide timely updates and feedback to Client and project stakeholders
  • Follow all Amplity Health policies and procedures

Education and Experience:

  • Required_
  • BA/BS from accredited college or university
  • Pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry experience
  • Demonstrated successful People Management experience; 3+ years preferred
  • Excellent Project Management skills; 3+ years' experiencepreferred
  • Direct Pharma/biopharmaceutical Client interaction; 3+ years preferred
  • Demonstrated successful experience leading a program or teamon a global, national, or regional level; 3+ years global or national level experience OR 5+ years regional levelexperience preferred
  • Fluent in English
  • Collaboration with diverse groups of people in a team environment
  • Experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool or database for KPIs
