    Description

    The Position -This position will oversee the delivery and resource disposal while analyzing and coordinating the management functions related to the assigned market area within the organization.

    Responsibilities:

    • Direct transportation life cycle management – training, driving, dispatching and managing teams.
    • P&L responsibility for the assigned market
    • Maintain and develop positive business relationships with a customer's key personnel involved in or directly relevant to a operations activity.
    • Plan, organize and execute plant support activities sufch as maintenance planning, repair analysis and test equipment recommendations.
    • Develop an understanding of customers' needs and take actions to ensure that such needs are met.f
    • Participate in the assessment and review of design alternatives and design change proposal impacts.
    • Explain operations and solutions to customers, management or other interested parties through written proposals and oral presentations.
    • Report operations plans, progress and results.
    • Direct team activities by establishing task priorities, scheduling and tracking work assignments, providing guidance, and ensuring the availability of resources.
    • Review and assist with proposals that include documentation for estimates.
    • Review logistics performance with customers against targets, benchmarks and service agreements.
    • Supervise all disposal and service employees and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within those departments.
    • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

    Educational Background & Experience Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree – Business Management, Transportation, Project Management, or Logistics preferred.
    • 5-7 years of experience in business development, trucking, and plant management.
    • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
    • 1-3 years of P&L experience.
