Do you have 4 years of underwriting/pooling commercial insurance experience? Do you hold your property and casualty insurance license and have used it within the agency side or the brokerage side? Do you have a passion for numbers, details, and documentation? This role will be working from the comfort of your home by providing your Commercial Insurance Underwriting and Client Service Rep skills to a highly respected Global Insurance Company.

salary: $24 - $25.7 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for insurance agency clients and handle the placing of bond, crime, windstorm, flood, cyber, and other insurance coverages in the standard insurance marketplace.

• Place miscellaneous ancillary lines policies (Bonds, Crime, Windstorm, Flood, Cyber Coverage, Pollution Liability, etc.) for Pools and stand-alone accounts
• Review/complete applications and submit to appropriate markets
• Process policy change requests
• Provide premium quotations to clients for new and renewal policies
• Create and send proposals
• Review expirations and prepare policy renewal notices
• Process preliminary claims notices between Insurance carriers and clients
• Serve as the primary contact for self-insured pool member clients
• Maintain current underwriting exposures in Pool underwriting system(s) for all clients (e.g., amendments adding vehicles, property, etc.)
• Issue verification of coverage (certificates) for all lines of coverage
• Coordinate, collect, and process self-insured pool member renewal updates including exposures, financial statements, warranties, MCP election forms, poor driver forms, etc.
• Process DWC notices for self-insured pool member clients
• Enters property & auto-schedule exposures into systems to facilitate individual pool proposals
• New member account set-up in underwriting and AMS systems
• Reconcile and process monthly invoices and quarterly billings from vendor for MVR's
