    LAND DEVELOPMENT UTILITY COORDINATOR – RESIDENTIAL HOMEBUILDER

We are seeking a highly motivated Land Development Utility Coordinator to assist in the Land Development team. You will be an integral part of the talented construction team.     Position: Land Development Utility Coordinator

    Industry: Residential Homebuilder

    Location: Chandler, AZ

    Company: Nexstar Homes

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Coordinate from start to finish all submittals, designs, scheduling of electrical line extensions with SRP and APS to service Nexstar's residential projects
    • Facilitate all communication with surveyors for minor land divisions, topos, surveys and staking
    • Work with Maricopa and Pinal County to receive minor land divisions approvals and to receive new tax parcel numbers
    • Coordinate with engineers, municipalities and private water companies to extend waterlines including ADEQ approvals
    • Coordinate the approval process for drilling and installing wells

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

    • Quickly become proficient in reading and understanding construction plans
    • Understanding of the residential land development process
    • Ability to build relationships with team members, engineers, surveyors, public utilities and municipalities

    YOU WILL BE AN AWESOME ADDITION TO THE TEAM IF:

    • You are organized, detailed, and in a kind way can drive all parties including engineers, surveyors, public utilities and municipalities to meet deadlines and complete work in a timely manor
    • Aptitude to problem solve and prioritize assignments/workload
    • You are a Self-starter and self-motivated to "figure it out" without being told what to do
    • You act with integrity and maintain a great relationship with all parties throughout the land development process
    • You are excited to work with one of the top home builders in the valley
