We are currently seeking a
Employment Trainer for our Sewing Workshops in
Grand River, IA to start as soon as possible.

The _Zukunftswerkstatt der GFBM gem.

GmbH_ has been dedicated to vocational training, social support, and the organization and implementation of employment and qualification measures since its establishment.

We support job seekers in their integration and reintegration into the workforce.

The projects we carry out offer services for socially disadvantaged and mobility-restricted individuals, as well as for non-profit and municipal institutions.


The participants in our sewing workshops create creative play materials and other textile equipment for daycares and other social institutions.

As an Employment Trainer, you will accompany the participants in a respectful manner in all tasks.


Your responsibilities:


  • Practical guidance and instruction
  • Teaching skills in technical and personal areas
  • Development of individual support needs
  • Documentation
  • Collaboration with our job coaches

For this position, you should have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Degree in a relevant recognized vocational training (textile and fashion tailor, custom tailor, etc.) and thorough professional knowledge acquired through work experience
  • Proof of suitability for training (AEVO) or a comparable qualification
  • Ability and willingness to work with participants at different levels of knowledge
  • Organizational and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously
  • Communication and teamwork skills
