Job Summary:

Antwerpen Chevrolet is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team in Sykesville, Maryland.

This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a competitive salary of $60,000 to $75,000 per year, paid biweekly.

As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for interacting with customers, understanding their needs and preferences, and matching them with the right vehicle from our extensive inventory.

This role requires a strong sales background, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for the automotive industry.

Responsibilities:

Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
Understand and anticipate the needs and preferences of customers
Demonstrate indepth knowledge of our inventory, including features, options, and pricing
Conduct test drives and effectively communicate vehicle features and benefits to customers
Negotiate and close sales deals while maintaining customer satisfaction
Complete all necessary paperwork and ensure accurate recordkeeping
Conduct followup calls and maintain relationships with past and potential customers
Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to overall dealership goals

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the automotive industry, preferably in a dealership setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers
Proficient computer skills and experience with CRM software
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Must pass a background check and drug screening
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
