    Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.

    We are actively seeking an Elementary Resource Special Education Teacher (SPED) for the school year. Please see details below:
    Location:South Omaha, NE
    PAY: $38/hr+ (negotiable/ depending on experience)
    Details:

    • Contract Position | Full Time
    • 37.5 hours a week
    • Start/ End Date: 8/8/2024- 5/26/2025
    • Caseload Details:
      • 2 Elementary Resource Positions
      • Resource teacher is responsible for working alongside teachers helping with math, reading, etc
    • On site Only
    • Zoom Interview

    Duties:

    • Assess students skills and determine their educational needs.
    • Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student.
    • Teach and mentor students as a class, in small groups and one-on-one.
    • Discuss students progress with parents, other teachers, counselors, and administrators.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree in education or Masters/Doctoral Degree in Special Education
    • Active Nebraska Special Education Teaching license
