JOB SUMMARY:

The Sales Representative will be responsible for maintaining company contacts with our current customer base and expanding Complete Hydraulic Component Service's traditional market into the Dayton Ohio and surrounding areas.

They will do this by:

Implementing sales programs to expand into new markets.
Working with operations and support teams to provide pricing structure when needed.
Representing the company at trade shows.
Informing service of new product opportunities and up and coming product needs.
Assisting with picking up service jobs and the collection of cores.
Keeping service informed of incoming jobs for scheduling.
Following up on customer concerns and warranties.
Completing daily call reports.
Completing new customer information sheets.
Working to reach projected sales and profit goals.
Working at keeping on regular schedules with customers for consistency in sales and service.
Supporting company policies regarding warranty, restocking, pricing, and core.

COMPETENCIES:

Strong listening and information processing skills.
Superior written and verbal communication.
Excellent in delivering good customer service.
Should have a basic knowledge of diesel engines.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Some college is helpful.
Three – Five years of experience in outside sales.
Familiarity with MS Office products is highly desirable.
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to sit for extended periods. Ability to stand for up to two hours. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to see for purposes of reading printed material and driving. Ability to hear and understand speech at normal levels. Ability to speak so that others will be able to clearly understand a normal conversation both in person and over the phone. Flexibility to work extended hours as needed. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
