Position Summary:

The OB Tech assists with the care and comfort of mother, infant, and family; performs a variety of clinical and environmental tasks under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

Position Requirements:

Education: High School diploma/GED. Associate's degree preferred.
Certifications: American Heart Association CPR required.
CNA or Medical Assistant strongly preferred.
OB Technician or Surgical Assist Certification strongly preferred.
At least one year of experience in Women's Health, Obstetrics, Labor and Delivery, or the OR preferred.
Special Skills: Bilingual (Spanish) abilities highly desirable.
Ability to function in emergency situations required.
