    Research Associate

    Location: 1910 East Innovation Park Drive, Tucson, AZ 85755

    Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday

    Role Overview:

    We are looking for a dedicated Research Associate I to join our team in Tucson, AZ. This role involves conducting research, development, and manufacturing laboratory experiments to support client projects. The successful candidate will use technical expertise in designing, executing, and interpreting experiments to contribute to project strategies. Additionally, this role includes preparing technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyses, as well as maintaining accurate laboratory documentation and electronic files.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Execute laboratory experiments with detailed observations and data analysis.
    • Prepare technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyses.
    • Maintain complete and accurate records of all experiments.
    • Follow detailed directions on all assigned work.
    • Suggest improvements to work processes.
    • Assist in reducing to practice patentable inventions.
    • Work on projects of moderate scope, analyzing data to review identifiable factors.
    • Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions.
    • Participate in cross-functional technical team activities.
    • Present and discuss data within the team.
    • Monitor work to ensure quality and promote Quality First Time.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, or Molecular Biology.
    • Entry-level experience with basic and some specialized laboratory techniques.
    • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, graphical, and presentation software applications.
