    Description

    Job Title: Research Associate I

    Join our team as a Research Associate I at Maxis Clinical Sciences!

    Job Summary: Responsible for conducting research, development, and manufacturing laboratory experimentation and other scientific activities to support client's projects at Maxis Clinical Sciences. You will use your technical expertise and discretion in the design, execution, and interpretation of experiments that contribute to project strategies. Additionally, you will prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses, and present and discuss results of experiments within the department and project team. Maintain a high level of professional expertise through familiarity with scientific literature and may participate in conferences and professional societies. Follow company policies and procedures for GMP, GLP, Design Control, and others as appropriate. Maintain complete and accurate laboratory documentation and electronic files. May act as principal investigator in conducting your experiments.

    Responsibilities:

    • Execute laboratory experiments; make detailed observations and analyze data.
    • Hire to support day-to-day imaging including image acquisition, image quality control, imaging sample coordination with CAP/CLIA lab, monitoring, and confirmation of image data transfer.
    • Prepare technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyses.
    • Maintain complete and accurate records.
    • Receive detailed directions on all work.
    • Make suggestions to improve work processes.
    • Assist in reducing to practice patentable inventions.
    • Work on projects of moderate scope in which analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors.
    • Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
    • Participate in cross-functional technical team activities.
    • Present and discuss data within the group.
    • Monitor work to ensure quality and continuously promote Quality First Time.

    Formal Training/Education

    Bachelor's Degree in Science

    Experience

    Less than 1 year of experience - Entry Level

    Knowledge, Skills, or Ability

    Requirements:

    • Basic and some specialized laboratory techniques.
    • Familiarity with searching scientific literature.
    • Demonstration/indication of internally motivated work ethic.
    • Demonstration/indication of reasonable non-impulsive problem-solving.
    • Skilled use of word processing, spreadsheets, graphical, and presentation software applications.
