- Acting as a strategic business advisor to respective leaders in the areas of organizational design, organizational effectiveness, talent and performance management, total rewards, workforce planning, change management, employee engagement and leadership development.
- Contributing to the HR Leadership Team, along with client partner groups, as a thought leader from a Strategic HR perspective.
- Developing organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.
- Developing and executing Talent Management plan aligned with business objectives including organizational design, succession planning, talent management, high potential identification and development and strategic talent acquisition.
- Managing directly and indirectly an HR team of approximately 10 employees at both manager and individual contributor levels. Leveraging the team to provide overall generalist HR support.
- Ensuring a fair and consistent interpretation and application of Company policies, practices, and procedures that create and maintain a positive work environment.
- Driving employee and organizational engagement.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, Business, or related field required. Masters degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressively increasing HR responsibility.
- 5+ years' experience in a leadership role building and a leading team.
- Experience partnering with senior leadership to create and drive strategic HR and key functional organization initiatives.
- Experience coaching and advising senior executives on business-critical issues.
- Successful background in Labor and Employee Relations required, direct negotiating experience preferred.
- Experience working with HVACR technicians is a plus.
- Must be a self-starter, experienced at dealing effectively with employees at all levels (i.e., from the shop floor to the C Suite), have excellent relationship/communication skills, and be a demonstrated team player.
- Demonstrated ability to actively engage employees and leaders in creating a positive morale and culture
- Ability to travel domestically approximately 20% of the time.
- This person must be in the St. Louis, MO or Chicago, IL area.
