Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Human Resources Specialist at CartonCraft Incorporated located in St Charles, IL.

The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for HR management, developing and implementing HR guidelines, managing employee HR training, and personnel management.

This is an on-site position that requires being physically present at our St Charles, IL location.


Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Human Resources (HR) principles and practices
  • Experience in HR management and personnel management
  • Ability to create and implement HR policies
  • Understanding of employee benefits administration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a must for this role.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, recommend, and implement HR procedures as well as ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues.
  • Implement and administer benefit enrollments.
  • Administer employee leaves including Workman's Compensation, FMLA.
  • Manage hiring process including recruiting and administering new hire onboarding including preemployment drug screens, background checks, required documents for payroll and insurance providers.

Schedule:
