We are a full-service tax and accounting firm located in Park City, Utah seeking a strong Senior Tax Manager to lead our tax practice.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced CPA who wants to be an integral part of our leadership team.
We are looking for a full-time, fully committed individual, ready to grow with our firm and interested in becoming a partner in our practice.
This position will have a significant amount of client interaction requiring you to be personable, confident, and professional. You should possess a high level of organization, be a self-starter, and able to work with minimal supervision. You must have a great attitude and be a model example to our other staff and team members.Reliability, accuracy, and attention to detail are crucial in this role.
The ideal candidate will have a broad background in all areas of tax, including partnership, S-corporations, C-corporations, trusts, and individual taxation.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Ability to process business and personal tax returns from start to finish
Develop, motivate, and coach various team members
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong knowledge of current federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
Ability to communicate planning guidance and advice to clients
Ability to research complex tax issues and tax planning strategies
Effectively review tax returns prepared by others
Job requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting/tax
Masters of Taxation (preferred)
CPA certification
Previous Public Accounting experience, with a minimum of 5 years tax preparation experience
Ultra Tax and Thomson Reuters Suite experience preferred
Ability to pay close attention to every detail
Excellent computer skills including proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently with limited supervision
Strong administrative organization skills
Hardworking, dependable, self-motivated, and responsible
Great communication and social skills
Preference will be given to on-site candidate though hybrid or remote work is an option
Passing a background check is required.
