- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients
- Research and interpret tax laws and regulations
- Assist with client projects and function as the lead for client relationships
- Develop strategies to minimize tax liabilities
- Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations
- Provide management and support to tax staff, including training and development
- This firm uses Lacerte tax software and Canopy management software.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Ability to research and interpret complex tax issues
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Leadership and team management experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fastpaced environment
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
- CPA required
- 57 years' experience in similar role
