- Oversees Site and Department Managers in the performance of their assigned job duties to ensure clinic operations are functioning in accordance with established policies, procedures, rules, and regulations
- Promotes a work culture that enhances employee morale via open and honest communication; being visible, accessible, and approachable to physicians/providers and staff; and demonstrating a strong work ethic and positive, helpful approach in all interactions
- Routinely communicates with Site and Department Managers, physicians/providers, senior leadership and staff on all issues needed to drive operational excellence
- Works collaboratively with physicians/providers, Site and Department Managers and the Director of Ancillary Operations to monitor operations, programs, and physical properties to ensure compliance with all accrediting bodies and regulatory agencies governing healthcare delivery
- Meets regularly with Nursing Director to provide feedback on and support for clinical staff onboarding, training and performance
- Leads and develops efficient processes for the recruitment/hiring of Site and Department Managers in close collaboration with Human Resources, physicians and senior leadership
- Supports Site and Department Managers in their daily staffing duties
- Resolves issues and problems regarding Site and Department Managers, staff, and patients in a timely, collaborative, and efficient manner, updating COO as appropriate
- Conducts regular meetings with Site and Department Managers to share organizational updates and provide training/education
- Ensures required training is conducted and documentation is completed for all direct reports and staff regarding OSHA, fire drills, Benefits Open Enrollment, employee events, staff development, 401k retirement program participation and planning, etc.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet organizational needs

- Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities and develop action items
- Understanding of the overall operations of a medical practice organization
- Ability to multi-task/project manage in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Ability to effectively and collaboratively interface with all levels of employees - staff, senior leaders, and physicians/providers
- Fiscal mindset with the ability to budget and balance enhancements to improve delivery of care
- Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing or related field of study from an accredited college or university
- 3+ years healthcare management experience at a Director level, preferably in a physician practice
- Experience managing staff in a multi-site environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare-related rules, regulations, laws, regulatory agencies, etc.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and effective team management

SUMMARY:
This position provides operational oversight, leadership and direction to the Site and Department managers responsible for physician/provider clinics. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this person will work collaboratively with Site and Department Managers, physicians/providers and senior leadership to address issues, improve processes, develop and implement applicable policies, procedures and workflows, maintain open lines of communication, onboard and performance-manage team members, and further develop a culture consistent with HMA's high standards of ethical and business conduct and compliance.
