    Summary:

    The persons in this role will work to provide high level administrative support to the Executives of Socket. This role includes a variety of support tasks necessary to create an efficient, professional, and effective office environment for the executive.

    General Administrative Support - Provide administrative and secretarial support to executives including but not limited to the following:
    • Provide daily support to executives through incidental tasks, communication with outside parties, and calendar support.
    • Maintain lunch and catering orders as needed.
    • Read, proofread and type correspondence, emails, reports and other material and be knowledgeable and efficient with use of computer and software programs.
    • Research and route correspondence; initiate telecommunications.
    • Schedule and coordinate company meetings and other business meetings; prepare agendas, minutes, reports and other materials.
    • Organize and maintain filing of tasks for easy access.
    • Produce requested information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, transmitting text and data.
    • Wide range of duties to support executive.
    Project Support -
    • Research and gather data for various projects as directed by leadership.
    • Assist with travel arrangements, coordinating reservations, appointments and itineraries.
    • Manage one-time incidental projects and ongoing projects to satisfy needs of Socket Telecom office and outside plan, and other incidental needs that arise.
    • Other incidental support with other Socket building projects.
    Requirements

    Education - Bachelor's degree in a business related major or equivalent experience is preferred. At least 2 years of experience in a business office setting is required.
