- Providestechnical repairs to complex electronic, mechanical, andProgrammable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
- Troubleshoots, repairs, fabricates, and/or installselectronic systems, complex gauges, instrumentation repairs, andnew parts including mechanical and electronic interfaces
- Troubleshoots, repairs, adjusts, installs, and programselectronic, electric, and pneumatic controls and instrumentationused to control and measure equipment performance, access tobuildings, building automation systems, fire protection systems,material handling systems (elevators, etc), and energy measurementsystems
- Assists production workers indiagnosing malfunctions in systems and equipment.
- Executes major equipment overhauls. Tests equipment afterrepairs, changeovers, or extended downtime
- Maintains production equipment while operating on adefined production schedule.
- Operates generalmachinery and tools including saws, drills, power tools, scissorlifts, forklifts, etc
- Interacts with andmaintains records in accordance with Maintenance Management Systemrequirements and job assignments and communicates via email, allwith the use of computer systems.
- Completesduties in accordance with quality assurance, GMPs, safety, andother company programs and procedures, and in compliance withgovernment code and regulations.
- Maintainsclean, organized, and safe work area, including wiping and washingequipment and tools, sweeping and mopping floors, and trashremoval.
- Confers with and coordinatesactivities with Bakery personnel and other departments to minimizedisruptions to production and maintenance schedules.
- Escorts contractors while in the bakery facility onscheduled visits.
- Performs other duties asassigned orrequired
- Highschool diploma with a minimum of 4 years experience ininstrumentation, measurement and control systems, electronics,mechanical and/or electrical experience in industrial andmanufacturing machinery OR 6 years experience in instrumentation,measurement, and control systems, electronics, mechanical and/orelectrical experience in industrial and manufacturingmachinery
- Experience in three of the followingskills: refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, andfood manufacturing process controls
- Knowledgeof equipment set-up, functionality, operating procedures, andpreventative maintenance techniques
- Able tohandle multiple tasks with the capability of prioritizing andplanning work activities.
- Must be at least 18years ofage
