    Job Description:

    Responsibilities:
    • Provides clinical healthcare services including: Nursing care for Injuries & illnesses which includes responding to medical emergencies, Case. Management of Occupational Injuries and Illness, Medical Surveillance examination and general health education and coaching.
    • Responsible for compliance associated with occupational health at the locations they support including, compliance with applicable OSHA regulations and recordkeeping and company s Global Health standards.
    • Drives increased health outcomes including reducing population health risks, managing and eliminating workplace health risks and supporting improved business outcomes through advancing employee health and wellbeing.
    • Provides various preventive health evaluations and tests in accordance with Global Health policies and protocols.
    • Maintains accurate clinical records, utilizing approved medical, nursing and statistical formats, including use of an Electronic Medical Record.
    • Maintains and cultivates a safe working environment.
    • Acquires knowledge of the occupational hazards and treatment for exposures for assigned locations.
    • Partners with other members of the Employee Health & Well-Being team as well as Human Resources, Safety and management partners to encourage an integrated team approach to solving problems.
    • Participates in the development of Site Business plans supporting key Global Health initiatives.
    • Participates in the Employee Development Program process.
    • Attends continuing education programs.
    • On occasion, supports other sites in the Florida campus.
    Requirements:
    • Current Registered Nurse license for the state of Florida is required.
    • A minimum of a bachelor s degree in Nursing (BSN).
    • Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN or COHN-S) preferred.
    • Three to five years experience in occupational health, emergency room or intensive care nursing preferred.
    • Current CPR/AED certification is required.
    • Experience with Electronic medical Records (EMR), Outlook, and Microsoft Excel is required.
    • Phlebotomy skills required.
    • Working knowledge of regulatory areas, i.e., ADA, OSHA, FMLA, Workers' Compensation, STD/LTD is required.
    • Case Management experience is preferred.
    • Outstanding leadership skills required; ability to gain trust and influence at all levels; collaborative.
    • Strong interpersonal and people skills including the ability to motivate, cooperate and work effectively with others, and build partnerships with various departments.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
    • Up to 10% domestic travel may be required.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
    • Phlebotomy experience.
