- Perform general accounting duties including GL, reconciliations, work in progress etc.
- Strong Balance Sheet and Income Statement knowledge.
- Prepare and validate journal entries and assist with mentoring lower-level staff.
- Perform monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations including assisting with Bank and Account Reconciliation
- Provide routine and ad hoc reporting to the Global Controller and Management teams, and intercompany group leadership.
- Prepare financial statements, financial and variance analysis for senior management.
- Recommend improvements and modifications to existing processes and programs.
- Work with external auditors to ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial records.
- Assist with yearly internal audit (consolidation package)
- Candidate will have a 4-year degree in Accounting or Finance along with 5+ years of corporate accounting experience

Our manufacturing client in the Reading PA area is looking for a Senior Accountant. This position will be responsible for various general accounting tasks and reports to the Global Controller.
