System Administrator (m/f/d) in the field of application support

Application Support in Wauconda or remote

Are you at home in the Linux environment? Do you enjoy providing and maintaining the application environment for employees and continuously developing it? Then you've come to the right place

We are currently looking for support for our 14-member IT service team in the application area, either fully remote or at our location in Wauconda.

Your tasks

  • Installation and updates of operating systems and applications
  • 1st and 2nd level support for internal specialist applications in a technically complex and heterogeneous environment
  • User and rights management, backups, configuration
  • Continuous development of the existing IT environment, especially automated installation
  • Collaboration with internal stakeholders

Your qualifications

  • Completed training in the IT field or career changer with proven professional experience
  • You have experience in virtualized environments and feel comfortable in the administration of Linux systems
  • Knowledge in the area of automated installation (Ansible), containerization (Docker / Podman) and web server technologies (Apache, nginx) are advantageous
