Job Summary: The Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for managing and coordinating the daily operations of the Logistics Department. This includes managing the warehouse personnel to pull orders, receive and verify jobs released to be staged, oversee booking of loads on all current carrier portals, distribution of goods, ensuring efficient internal and external customer service, and overseeing all shipping processes. The Logistics Supervisor will be a key leader in developing and implementing strategies and plans to improve department efficiency and customer service.

• Oversee and coordinate all shipping, receiving, and distribution operations.
• Work closely with carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Develop and implement strategies for improving efficiency, customer service, and cost savings.
• Manage the Logistics staff and coordinate scheduling the workloads.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust ordering and storage accordingly.
• Track order fulfillment and investigate/resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• At least 5 years of prior experience in a supervisory role in Logistics or related field
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and distribution processes and procedures
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment.
