$ $51.58 per hour
In addition to base pay, a $6.00 per hour stipend when working the night shift.
JOB SUMMARY:
Provides management and leadership to nursing units and supports personnel. This includes fiscal responsibility, HR Management and QI activities. Directs and ensures all residents are assessed and their care is planned, implemented and evaluated by competent staff. Facilitates Interdisciplinary Team Conferences. Shares responsibility for continuing education of department and staff.
Responsible for meeting CMS/DOH standards for nursing practice and long-term care guidance; assist in managing all personnel, equipment and supplies on nursing units; promoting teamwork with medical staff, personnel of other departments, outside agencies and affiliates.
Knowledgeable of all union contracts.EDUCATION:
Registered Nurse with a NYS license. BLS required.
