    Job Summary:
    Baylor Trucking is seeking a dedicated Corporate Safety Supervisor to join our team in Milan, Indiana.

    The successful candidate will play a key role in interacting with and training our drivers to ensure compliance with both internal standards and external regulations.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Directly oversee and conduct driver orientations to establish clear safety expectations and standards from the outset.
    • Lead both proactive and remedial training sessions aimed at enhancing driver safety practices and correcting any observed deviations.
    • Manage disciplinary functions as necessary to maintain compliance with Baylor Trucking's safety commitments and regulatory requirements.
    • Ensure continuous compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR), including staying updated on changes, conducting regular audits, and addressing any compliance gaps.
    • Report directly to the Safety Manager, contributing to the strategic direction and leadership continuity within the safety department.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in a safety supervisory role within the trucking or transportation industry.
    • Strong knowledge of FMCSR and other relevant safety regulations.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on training and development.
    • Ability to implement and oversee compliance strategies effectively.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • High school graduate or equivalent experience.
    • College preferred.
    • Public speaking and/or adult education experience.
    • Transportation Safety experience and Class A CDL preferred.
    • One to Two years of experience in a Safety Specialist position preferred.
