- Oversee the maintenance and preventive maintenance of all production machinery and building maintenance needs.
- Supervise technical maintenance activities, troubleshooting, and repair of ammonia refrigeration equipment.
- Manage food safety, sanitation, quality, and security of the food products.
- Ensure compliance with EPA regulations related to hazardous chemical facilities.
- Coordinate external service agencies for refrigeration repair work.
- Perform inspections and preventative maintenance as per schedules.
- Maintain, repair, and examine refrigeration systems.
- Conduct daily chemical testing and maintain system within established limits.
- Interact with governmental agencies as necessary.
- Diagnose malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
- Supervise, train, and develop subordinates.
- Ensure use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by employees.
- Educational background: High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; Ammonia Refrigeration experience required.
- Knowledge and skills in various technologies such as construction, electrical systems, and more.
- Working knowledge of food plant production and processing equipment.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and standards.
- Prior experience in a supervisory role.
- Basic PC skills and proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
- Experience with SAP is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- Capability to work any shift and be on 24-hour call for emergencies.

What we are looking for:
We are seeking a Refrigeration Supervisor for our manufacturing facility in Florence, KY. This role, scheduled from Monday to Friday, involves leading, directing, and coordinating the refrigeration department to enhance performance in terms of safety, productivity, and quality. The position also involves ensuring compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Plan (RMP).
