    Join Our Team as a Surgical Technologist - First Assistant

    • As outlined by the American College of Surgeons, Surgical Assistants (SAs) play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient completion of surgical procedures by assisting the surgeon with various technical tasks.

    Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent - Mandatory
    • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross - Essential
    • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Surgical Tech OR 1-year experience as a Surgical First Assistant - Essential

    Key Skills:

    • Effective delegation, interpersonal, and customer service skills
    • Proficiency in written and verbal communication, knowledge of regulatory standards, and familiarity with medical terminology
    • Demonstrated ability in precepting, working collaboratively, and independently
    • Strong organizational and critical thinking skills
