Job Summary:

The Caregiver at Village Caregiving - Clarksburg is a full-time, hourly position located in Weston, West Virginia.

As a member of our healthcare/medical team, the Caregiver will provide individualized care and support to our clients within their homes.

The primary role of the Caregiver is to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of our clients while promoting their independence and maintaining their dignity.

This is an individual contributor role, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a compassionate and patient demeanor.

Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position ranges from $12 to $14 per hour, paid biweekly.

Village Caregiving - Clarksburg also offers a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a retirement savings plan.

Responsibilities:

Provide personal care services, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, according to client's individual care plan
Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of mobility aids and assisting with physical therapy exercises
Assist with medication reminders
Monitor and report changes in clients' physical and emotional status to the care team
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities they enjoy and promoting social interactions
Complete household tasks, such as light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation, to maintain a safe and clean environment for the client
Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings
Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure the health and wellbeing of the client
Maintain documentation and records accurately and timely

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare preferred
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and patient demeanor
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
