- Providesgeneral and specialized direct and indirect patient care throughthe application of sound procedures andpractices.
- Performs accurate and completeadmission assessments within defined time frames. Assesses anddocuments patient's pain levels utilizing appropriate protocols.Prioritizes and documents patient problems based on assessedneeds/problems in collaboration with the patient, family, andhealth care team.
- Monitors and documentspatient's condition and effectiveness and timeliness of care and/orinterventions.
- Evaluates, updates and revisesplan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expectedoutcomes.
- Delegates appropriate components ofthe nursing care plan to other members of the nursingteam.
- Plans delivery of patient care incollaboration with other disciplines that promotes wellness andfacilitates thedischarge

- •Completion of a recognized course of study from an accreditedSchool of Nursing.
- • Bachelor of Science inNursingpreferred.
- Currentstate licensure as Registered Nurse(RN).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)through American Heart Association(AHA).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)through American Heart Association (AHA)required.
- • Desire to work in differenthospitals as needed.
- • Requires criticalthinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work withminimal supervision.
- • Must be able to work ina stressful environment and take appropriateaction.
- Minimum two years recentOperating Roomexperience.
- Requires full range ofbody motion including handling and lifting patient, manual andfinger dexterity, and eye-handcoordination.
- Requires standing and walking forextended periods of time.
- Medium Work -Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demandrequirements are in excess of those for LightWork.
